All girl punk/rock trio formed in Osaka in 2012. The band specialise in the sort of catchy choruses that could put an ear-to-ear smile on the face of any music fan.
Red Dogs have played in numerous venues in and around Japan but in 2016 Red Dogs played at the AWOD festival in Derby supporting punk legends Conflict, where they apparently ‘smashed it’.
The band have released 2 cd’s since forming. Firstly “Tricky Triangle” (which has now completely sold out) and their latest cd called “Break out your radio”.
With support from:
Female fronted New wave punk grunge band, DIY and hungry. Parisian Lead singer Nina Courson met British guitarist Phil Honey-Jones in 2009 in the now defunct venue Punk in Soho, both of them were in separate bands at the time. It wasn’t long before ideas were bouncing around and they began to write songs together, the shared influences of the likes of Iggy Pop, Nirvana, Blondie, Killing Joke,Sonic Youth, Bauhaus and Bowie playing a big part in the direction of the music.
Passionate tunes, sinister undertones and a pop punk sensibility infused with a hint of the troubadour, playing Rock, New Wave, Prog Pop, Punk.
They have released their first album and produced a video for the opening track ‘Say Hello’ in collaboration with the Aardman stop motion animator Tine Kluth.
A fusion between grunge, punk, hard rock, metal, blues and anything else that is loud, noisy and comes from the heart by this West London trio.
Have you ever asked yourself what would the midpoint between Guns’n’Roses and Nirvana sound like? Well that bastard is Yur Mum.
