Red Dogs
The Star and Garter, Manchester

Red Dogs are a three-piece punk band from Osaka who formed in 2012. Their sound can best be described as a mixture of hardcore punk and garage rock, a fierce blend that marries high energy thunderous music with great tunes and spine-tingling vocal harmonies. The band consists of Haruka on vocals and bass, Kazumi on drums and Maimai on guitar. Kazumi and Maimai also provide backing vocals.

Despite their short existence Red Dogs have already played in the UK at the AWOD (Another Winter of Discontent) punk festival in Derby, alongside such stalwarts of the UK punk scene as Conflict.

Red Dogs are touring the UK in July this year and Japan Society North West are very pleased to be hosting their headlining date at Manchester’s legendary Star and Garter pub on 14th July. Please come and welcome them when they play! Details of gig entry fee will be posted closer to the date.
