On May 27th 2011 Gil Scott Heron died.
He’s undoubtedly most famous for his poem The Revolution Will Not be Televised which he released in 1970 when he was just 21.
The poem is as true now as it was then, the revolution whether in Egypt or Spain is not televised, not live, not as it happens.
What we have now though is Twitter.
Our tribute to the man is a The revolution will not be televised #hashtag t-shirt.
